Nigerian music star Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has made history by becoming the first African artiste to headline Glastonbury Festival, UK’s biggest music fest. The festival, which was held in Somerset, England, had over 210,000 attendees.
Wizkid headlined the “The Other Stage” of the festival, which is commonly acknowledged as the second stage at the festival. His stage time was announced as 10.30 pm on June 23, 2023 and his performance was described as energetic and electrifying.
