The Lagos Review Closes 2019 With A Final Literary Offering

The Lagos Review, a cultural platform that features reviews, literary essays, interviews, chats and other forms of cultural expressions, kicked off sometime this year, deciding to position itself alongside a slowly dying breed of literary gatekeepers who employ literary criticism to analyze creative works.

As the year wraps up, The Lagos Review presents its final newsletter for 2019, scheduled for Sunday the 29th of December with a special note of thanks.

Every Sunday, we treat you to a literary buffet.

A collection of reviews, literary essays, interviews and everything in-between to enrich your weekend and kickstart your week on a cerebral note.

This weekend, we curate the last instalment for 2019, a unique, cultural milestone that we hope to raise a notch higher in the coming year.

Thanks for riding gunshot with us, on this amazing journey.

We make only one promise.

Every Sunday of every week, like clockwork.

More reviews are coming!

Thanks to the usual suspects, Knights of the pen who continually brave the drought of the white space to create amazing narratives for our newsletter.

Toni Kan, Dami Ajayi, Peju Akande and
Henri Yire

And to all the contributors who over the weeks made a literary impression in form of a contribution to our platform, we thank you and say; may your pen never run out of ink and your hearts warmth.
