Renowned rapper 2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed K. Epps, found himself in a car accident in Miami early Saturday morning. The incident occurred on I-95 when a Tesla collided with the rapper’s vehicle from behind. The 46-year-old artiste, known for hits like “It’s a Vibe” and “I’m Different,” shared footage of the aftermath on his Instagram Story, revealing himself being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher.
According to TMZ, 2 Chainz sustained neck injuries and possibly other injuries but is currently in stable condition at the hospital. Authorities suspect that the driver of the Tesla may have been under the influence, although this information is yet to be confirmed.
Prior to the accident, 2 Chainz was in South Florida for the star-studded Art Basel weekend and had just left a popular Miami strip club called Booby Trap. He had shared a video on Instagram showcasing his visit to Marketplace 119: Meat and Seafood, where he purchased a colossal stone crab.
