Kenyan Afro-pop artist Willy Paul has released “PM,” a new single featuring Otile Brown, which marks a more introspective turn, built around themes of desire, emotional availability, and the particular tension of waiting for connection at night.
Born Wilson Abubakar Radido in Mathare, Nairobi, Willy Paul is a multi-award-winning recording artist whose work spans Afro-pop, Bongo Flava and contemporary rhythm.

“PM” centres on the feeling of being drawn to someone whose presence immediately shifts the mood, a pull communicated through longing rather than urgency. Willy Paul said the evening provided a specific emotional register for the material. “There is something about the evening that makes everything feel more honest,” he said.
Otile Brown features as a counterpoint, offering reassurance that balances the record’s undercurrent of vulnerability. Together, the two artists build a mood around a phone call not yet made, the hope it carries and the silence around it.
“PM” is streaming now on all major platforms.
