The African Book Festival Berlin is the first festival in the German capital focussing on literature from Africa and/or the diaspora.
For the third time and under the capture “Telling the Origin Stories” it takes place from 27th to 29th of May 2021 in Berlin, curated by Kalaf Epalanga.
As a result, they are looking for reliable and flexible support.
The African Book Festival is Berlin’s first and largest festival by and for African writers, and will take place in Berlin under the artistic direction of Kalaf Epalanga.
Helpers who, with a maximum working time of 4-6 hours per day, have the desire and time to support us in the areas of guest care, stage and event management, catering and public relations.
The festival offers a 3-day festival pass and free participation in all program items outside of working hours, flat hierarchies and numerous opportunities to get involved creatively and actively. All volunteers will receive a final letter of reference upon request.
The organisers expect reliability and flexibility, possession of a smartphone, good knowledge of English.
Unfortunately, the organisers cannot cover travel expenses.
