Not So Frosh: Singer, Lil Frosh To Stay In Prison Till March 2021

The case against budding Nigerian music artiste, Sanni Wasiu, popularly known as Lil Frosh has taken an interesting turn, as the artiste has been remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre till March 9, 2021, over the alleged assault of his girlfriend, Okeoghene Iyomaterie.

A suit against Lil Frosh was filed before the Lagos State Magistrate court in Yaba with the help of the International Association Of Women Lawyers, Lagos State branch a few weeks ago.

At the hearing on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 the Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, adjourned the case till March 9, 2021 and ordered that he be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Center.

The singer who was called out by his girlfriend sometime in October 2020 for subjecting her to physical and verbal assault while they were dating, was consequently dropped from his label deal by DMW label boss, Davido.

The girlfriend disclosed that she had been in a relationship with the musician since January 2020 and that anytime they had a disagreement, he would violently attack her, leaving her with serious bodily injuries.
