The introduction of the Afrobeats Songs Chart in early 2022 has provided a platform to recognize and celebrate the growing influence of Afrobeats music in the United States. The chart ranks the 50 most popular Afrobeats songs based on a weighted formula incorporating official streams and download sales from top music retailers.

While Shaggy and Bruce Melodie celebrate their chart success, other artists continue to make waves across different Billboard charts. YG Marley’s debut single “Praise Jah In The Moonlight” maintains a strong global presence despite a slight dip on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Meanwhile, on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, legends like Bob Marley and the Wailers dominate with their timeless collections, showcasing the enduring appeal of reggae music across generations.
