The two-day extravaganza, scheduled for November 11 and 12 in Gauteng, promises a premium lifestyle experience that transcends the boundaries of music, culture, and lifestyle.

Omah Lay, renowned for his Afrofusion mastery blending hip-hop, R&B, pop, and highlife rhythms, will take center stage on Sunday to conclude the festival on a high note. With the recent global acclaim from his debut album, “Boy Alone,” and stellar collaborations with icons like Justin Bieber and Ozuna, Omah Lay is set to enchant the audience with his musical magic.

Adekunle Gold, the urban highlife maestro, will headline Saturday’s festivities, showcasing his mesmerizing fusion of contemporary pop, folk, R&B, and electronica. Having attained global recognition since his 2014 debut single “Sade” and releasing his fifth studio album, “Tequila Ever After,” in July this year, Adekunle Gold is poised to deliver a performance that resonates with fans across genres.

The Friends of Amstel experience has evolved into a two-day spectacle, building on the success of last year’s invitation-only event that featured Nigerian superstar Tems. Festival-goers can anticipate an immersive encounter with renowned artists, including DJ Kent, Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Kelvin Momo, DJ Maphorisa, and others.

According to Boipelo Malao, Amstel marketing manager, Friends of Amstel is more than an event; it’s a collaborative platform that brings together Africa’s biggest acts and emerging talents, pushing the boundaries of music and lifestyle. With the official countdown underway, fans eagerly anticipate a weekend filled with groundbreaking performances and unforgettable moments at the intersection of music and culture.
