New sneak peek shows Scott Lang vs. Kang in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”

Marvel Entertainment recently released a teaser to reveal more about the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania set for a February 17 theatrical release.

According to MovieWeb, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is seen in a showdown facing Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors).

“You have a daughter… You’re an Avenger… Have I killed you before?”

Kang gives fans the chills with yet another haunting introduction in the latest trailer. In a later teaser scene, Lang yells “Kang!” in preparation for a battle that will leave fans on the edge of their seats.

Aside from that, the teaser offered little new details about the story. However, viewers got to see new scenes from the Quantum Realm, which the characters will explore in an aerial battle in the upcoming film. Watch the new teaser for the highly anticipated Marvel film below.

Peyton Reed, director of the Ant-Man series, talked in an interview about some people’s ideas about the series. He knows that some people think this series does not have the same dramatic weight as other superhero stories. In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Reed hopes to change this idea. He said:

“People felt like, Oh, these are fun little palate cleansers after a gigantic Avengers movie, for this third one, I said, ‘I don’t want to be the palate cleanser anymore. I want to be the big Avengers movie.'”

Talking more about the series, Reed says, “In the first one, we introduced the idea of the Quantum Realm, we kind of dipped our toe into it, and then even more so in the second one, but we obviously left a lot of unanswered questions. We wanted to go in a different direction, and create an epic movie where the bulk of it takes place in the Quantum Realm. For me, it was really exciting, because the other two films take place in San Francisco, and this one, we were creating this incredibly complex subatomic world, and all the environments and ecosystems and creatures and beings that inhabit that world.”
