Keaton reflects on ‘enormous fun’ making ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’

Michael Keaton has shared insights into the making of “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” the highly anticipated sequel to Tim Burton’s 1988 horror comedy, faroutmagazine.co.uk reports. According to the outlet, Keaton, who portrays the titular Betelgeuse, expressed his excitement, labelling the experience as “enormous fun.”

Scheduled to premiere on September 6th, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” serves as a direct continuation of its predecessor, featuring Keaton alongside returning cast members Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder. New additions include Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci and Willem Dafoe.

In a departure from heavy CGI reliance, Keaton revealed a commitment to a more tactile approach, emphasising practical effects and craftsmanship. “It had to feel handmade,” Keaton explained, highlighting the collaborative effort behind the scenes.
