Scheduled to premiere on September 6th, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” serves as a direct continuation of its predecessor, featuring Keaton alongside returning cast members Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder. New additions include Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci and Willem Dafoe.
In a departure from heavy CGI reliance, Keaton revealed a commitment to a more tactile approach, emphasising practical effects and craftsmanship. “It had to feel handmade,” Keaton explained, highlighting the collaborative effort behind the scenes.
