Inaugural California Vibrations Festival brings back reggae to Long Beach

Chill vibes are coming to Long Beach in February when concert promoter Goldenvoice brings reggae, plus a bit of hip-hop, back to the city, reports DailyBeast.

Set to take place February 4-6 at Marina Green Park in Long Beach, the report says tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, October 15.

The Marley Brothers, including Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, Julian and Ky-mani Marley, along with Slighty Stoopid, Rebelution and Sublime with Rome, are among some of the first acts announced for the inaugural weekend festival. The Marley family will perform the music of their late father, Bob Marley.

Also on the lineup of more than 50 acts for the new festival, which was announced by Goldenvoice on October 11, are Wu-Tang Clan, Dirty Heads, Stick Figure, Sean Paul, Koffee, Atmosphere, Shaggy and Long Beach Dub Allstars.
