Gino D’Acampo has hinted that Gordon Ramsay is leaving their ITV show Gordon, Gino and Fred.
The Italian cook and the Michelin starred chef are joined by French Maître d’ Fred Sirieix for the road trip series which sees them travelling the world sampling local culture cuisine, according to Yahoo.
But D’Acampo has announced on social media: “Breaking News… Unfortunately we will no longer be filming #GordonGinoandFred mainly because @gordongram is too busy working on his hair highlights in USA.”
He added: “But don’t worry guys, @fred_sirieix and I have a plan #JustinGinoandFred Coming soon…….”
Justin in the nickname D’Acampo gave to the furry sporran he wore when the trio visited Scotland in series one.
An ITV spokesperson told Yahoo UK: “Making a show that involves international travel during this period with the knock on effect of COVID-19 restrictions has been challenging, but Gordon, Gino and Fred has not been cancelled.”
Ramsay, 55, has been a regular on BBC TV of late, cheering on his 19-year-old daughter Tilly Ramsay on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Hell’s Kitchen star currently presents cooking travel show Uncharted for National Geographic and has a new series Next Level Chef starting on Fox in the US next year.
He is also due to front upcoming series Gordon Ramsay’s Future Food Stars on BBC One.
