Fans confused over Beyoncé’s delayed Valentine’s Day post

Beyoncé has shared myriad photos of herself and her rapper husband Jay-Z over the years, according to Elle.

At the end of last year, the platform reports the ‘Run the World’ singer shared several shots of herself and the musician posing together in glamorous outfits, including one of the mother-of-three dressed in a high-octane glimmering Gucci blazer.

There was also a photo of them standing side-by-side, with Jay-Z in a tuxedo suit and Beyoncé dressed in a voluminous dress, not to mention a date night-themed video clip for the jewellery brand Tiffany & Co. The video shows them embracing one another and locking hands and even featured a surprise appearance from their 10-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

So, when Valentine’s Day came around this year, eagle-eyed fans may well have expected the Grammy-winning singer to share a post of herself and Jay-Z to mark the occasion. Instead, just over a week after the international day of romance, she took to Instagram to posts photos in honour of the day – but Jay-Z was nowhere to be seen

The singer opted to share solo photos of herself, including one of her dressed in a regal red look, which consisted of a jumper with a cut-out heart at the back.

Another image showed a cake iced with words that spelt out: ‘Happy Valentine’s Day.’

Other photos saw the singer dressed in a same-toned tracksuit and stepping off a private jet in a vivid pink look.

‘Beyoncé said it’s Valentine’s Day Today,’ wrote one fan. Another commented: ‘I knew we were getting V- day pics but these exceeded my expectations.’

Other fans couldn’t help but emphasise that the Dreamgirls star’s Valentine’s Day post was rather delayed. One person simply wrote: ‘Valentine’s day was a week ago [sic],’ and another commented: ‘Lol @ us thinking Valentine’s Day was Feb.14 but Beyoncé said it’s today. So it’s today [sic].’

A photo of Beyoncé in the same pink look was shared to her Ivy Park brand page with the caption: ‘Bey Mine.’
