“ARIYA EKO,” Music Festival Celebrates Indigenous Music

Our indigenous music is our cultural heritage so, we have to showcase it to the world, whilst also projecting Nigeria‘s Tourism potential; one will agree that our local music is fast losing it’s grasp on morality and societal values – this is why Ariya Eko Music Festival is being put together to bring in some sanity and control in our music industry.

Recall that the one put in place last year and tagged Faaji Agba Eko was mainly done for the aged and elderly – it was a huge success because many artistes like Orlando JuliusTee MacJimi SolankeBugaAraYinka Davies and others were in attendance – the high-point of the event was the arrival of His Excellency, the executive governor of Lagos StateGovernor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu; this year unlike last year, has been expanded to include all other genres and the entire general musical populace of both young and old.
