Adele admits feeling bad about her radical weight loss

Adele has admitted that she ‘feels bad’ about her radical weight loss, but said that whilst some fans feel ‘abandoned’ by her, it’s not her job to ‘validate how people feel about their bodies’.

The 33-year-old singer, who recently sold out two dates in Hyde Park next year in a matter of minutes, has been training hard in the gym and dropped around seven stone in weight of late, according to a LADBible report.

The star, the publication states, has also spoken out about how she used the fitness regime to help out with her anxiety following her split from husband Simon Konecki.

Speaking to Oprah Winfrey in a wide-ranging TV interview, the London-born musician  reportedly said that she never meant to make anyone feel bad, but whilst many have praised her efforts, others have expressed their disappointment.

It’s a strange thing to do, to be fair. It’s ultimately up to Adele what she does with her body.

She told Winfrey that some fans have felt ‘upset’ and ‘abandoned’ by her, and explained her own feelings on the matter.

Adele said: “I’m not shocked or even fazed by it because my body has been objectified my entire career. I’m either too big or too small; I’m either hot or I’m not.”

For her part, the Easy On Me singer said that she is just focusing on herself, which seems reasonable enough.
