American rapper Yung Miami has announced the upcoming release of the “Spend Dat Remix,” featuring fellow artists Lil Baby and Kodak Black, scheduled to drop on Friday, August 28, per hiphopwired.com.
The official remix follows the commercial success of the original track, which prompted the artist to sustain its momentum following the release of several alternative versions in May.
While fans initially speculated about a potential feature from Drake, Yung Miami ultimately chose to collaborate with Lil Baby and Florida native Kodak Black.
The collaboration with Kodak Black marks a notable development given the pair’s past public friction. In 2019, the rapper recorded a freestyle featuring threatening remarks directed at Yung Miami during her pregnancy. Despite their strained history, the former City Girls member has chosen to unite with him on the new project.
