Grammy-winning Atlanta producer Zaytoven has released “Signature Sound,” a collaborative single with Florida bass music artist Tape B, out August 12.
The track brings together two artists from different musical traditions: Zaytoven, known for shaping Atlanta trap through work with Gucci Mane, Future, Migos, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert and 21 Savage, and Tape B, a fixture on the global festival circuit within bass music.
According to a statement, “Signature Sound” originated when Tape B drew inspiration from a production tutorial featuring Zaytoven. The connection developed into a formal collaboration, with both producers finding common ground in their approach to low-end rhythm and production technique.
The single builds on Tape B’s existing ties to hip-hop. In 2024, he released “Trippy Land” with Juicy J, a track that has surpassed four million streams. “Signature Sound” arrives as Tape B continues a run of sold-out amphitheatre tour dates and a near-sold-out two-night headline run at Red Rocks.
For Zaytoven, the release extends a production legacy built primarily within hip-hop into bass and electronic music circles, reflecting a broader pattern of genre crossover in contemporary production.
