Cosamote releases bold album “Files ’26”

Creative collective Cosamote introduces a bold new chapter and a fresh creative ecosystem with the release of its debut album, “Files ‘26”. Now streaming on all platforms via ONErpm, the project was born out of a desire to create without limits, serving as a collective space where music and imagination flow freely.

The boundary-pushing spirit of Cosamote comes to life across the vibrant 13-track project, featuring 11 diverse artistes. Executive produced by Oke “Emaxee” Emmanuel, “Files ‘26” is described as a creative movement celebrating unity through sound.

This cohesive body of work merges emotion, groove and reflection, crafting a seamless narrative about love, growth and self-expression. The album feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new, drawing inspiration from early 2000s R&B while infusing contemporary Afrofusion and soul textures. The result is a fearless and fluid sonic identity, marking the sound of a new generation rewriting the rules and building their own creative ecosystem.

Each of the 11 artistes brings their unique flavour to the project, showcasing a diverse lineup of voices like Caleb Clay, Fimi, Musta4a, Creen Caesar, Adebaby, and Tiwi.

Standout tracks that showcase this variety include the smooth intimacy of “Sweetest Taboo” (Adebaby, Jamz), the vibrant energy of “Pamukutu” (Musta4a, Adebaby) and the introspective storytelling of “It’s Not My Fault (Me Vs My Ex)” (Tiwi, Suurshi).

Other key tracks on the album are, “Consistency” (Caleb Clay, Fimi), “Company” (Creen Caesar, Caleb Clay), “Ijgb” (Tiwi, Amakah) and “Ololufe” (Adebaby & Amakah).
