Lindsay Lohan & Jamie Lee Curtis in Las Vegas to promote upcoming ‘Freaky Friday’ sequel

Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis sent waves of nostalgia through CinemaCon on Thursday as they took the stage at Caesars Palace to promote their upcoming sequel, “Freakier Friday,” per pagesix.com. The pair, who first charmed audiences in Disney’s 2003 hit Freaky Friday, embraced in an emotional reunion, proving their on-screen chemistry is as electric as ever.

“We can’t begin to tell you how amazing it’s been to be back in Ana and Tessa’s shoes,” Lohan, 38, told the cheering crowd, referring to her and Curtis’ iconic roles.

Curtis, 66, teased that the sequel will up the ante with even more body-swapping mayhem. “This time, we’ve doubled the swaps,” she revealed, hinting at an “aggressive teenage makeover” that will show her like “never before.”

Dressed in a vibrant yellow suit, Curtis radiated enthusiasm, while Lohan dazzled in a sleek purple mini-dress. The two held hands as they exited the stage, their bond as strong as it was two decades ago.

The original film, a cult classic, followed a rebellious teen (Lohan) and her stressed-out mother (Curtis) as they magically swapped bodies, leading to hilarious and heartfelt chaos. The sequel, set to hit theatres August 8, promises to deliver the same mix of comedy and heart—with a fresh twist.

“We made this movie with love, a lot of love,” Curtis emphasised, urging fans to experience it on the big screen.

Off-camera, the pair’s friendship has endured over the years, with Curtis frequently supporting Lohan on social media. Last summer, behind-the-scenes photos from the Malibu set showed them laughing and embracing in the ocean—a testament to their enduring connection.
