The British monarch is launching a radio show and Davido is among the line-up of artistes the monarch has described as his favourites from across the commonwealth.
Announcing the show, King Charles shared that “through out my life, music has meant a lot to me and I know it is also the case for so many others.”
According to NME, “The exact tracks included on the playlist have not yet been announced, although it is expected to see songs from icons like Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, and Grace Jones, as well as newer talents like RAYE and Davido..”
The radio show is being launched in collaborarion with Apple Music.
Recorded in Buckingham Palace, the one off show will first air at 6am on Monday March 10 in commemoration of Commonwealth Day with repeat broadcasts later that day as well as on Tuesday.
