Faber has acquired “Kiss Marry Kill,” a pulse-racing debut thriller by British-Nigerian author Yemi Dipeolu, in a six-figure pre-empt, per faber.co.uk. The deal, brokered by Crime Editor Sara Helen Binney, secures World English rights for “Kiss Marry Kill” and a second novel from Kemi Ogunsanwo at Seventh Literary. Set for release in March 2026 in ebook and audio formats, with a paperback edition to follow in June 2026, the novel promises to be a standout addition to Faber’s crime list, appealing to fans of Shari Lapena’s twisty family dramas and Lisa Jewell’s secrets-laden narratives.

As Ife settles into her seaside cottage with husband Ade, she finds herself haunted by the lingering presence of his ex-wife, Cynthia—her clothes, perfume and even jewellery seem to echo through their home. But the real shock comes at their wedding reception, when Ade is arrested for Cynthia’s murder. Caught between the police’s damning suspicions and Ade’s fervent claims of innocence, Ife must navigate a web of deceit, betrayal and danger to uncover the truth.
