Lenny Kravitz, the Grammy award-winning rock legend and actor from the 1990s era, is set to unveil his upcoming album, “Blue Electric Light,” on May 24 through Roxie Records/BMG, per undertheradarmag.com.
As a precursor to this eagerly awaited release, Kravitz has recently dropped his latest single, “Human.”
Originally slated for a March 15 launch, the album’s release was rescheduled to May, building anticipation among fans. Prior to “Human,” Kravitz teased listeners with “TK421,” the album’s first single, accompanied by a NSFW music video that garnered attention for its bold visuals.
“Blue Electric Light” marks Kravitz’s return after a hiatus of over five years, presenting his 12th full-length LP and notably, his first double album. Kravitz’s musical prowess shines through as he played a majority of the instruments himself, alongside longtime collaborator Craig Ross.
Recorded in his Bahamian studio, the album promises a blend of Kravitz’s signature style and fresh musical explorations. With his last album, Raise Vibration, released in 2018, fans are eagerly anticipating the sonic journey that “Blue Electric Light” is sure to deliver.
