Yejide Kilanko alongside Walsh & Wainwright make Guernica Prize Shortlist

Congratulations are definitely in order!

The Guernica Editions proudly announces the 2019 Guernica Prize for Literary Fiction Shortlist with a total of five finalists making the highly coveted list.

The shortlist, which notable includes four women and just one man is listed below:

*At Half-light by Linda Walsh

*Mouldable Women by Yejide Kilanko

*This Cleaving and This Burning by Andrew Wainwright

*A Twitch in the Bones by Renee M. Sgroi

*Zulaikha by Lily Soltani

This year’s winner will be named on September 29th at the Guernica Prize Celebration event.

The Guernica Prize recognizes the best literary fiction novel that pushes boundaries and is cutting edge. It is open to Canadian citizens and/or residents of Canada only.

Since 1978, the Guernica Editions has published fine Canadian literature with a special understanding of different cultures.
