Rapper Tyga has reportedly been arrested on felony domestic violence charges after turning himself in to the Los Anegels Police Department.
The 31-year-old musician, whose real name is Micheal Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, surrendered himself to the police after he reportedly had an altercation with ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson at his $12.8M Bel-Air mansion during the early hours on Monday morning, reports Metro
A tweet from the LAPD’s official account stated: ‘Hollywood Div booked Michael Stevenson for felony domestic violence (273.5 A PC). The incident occurred on 10/12/21 in Hollywood.’
The Rack City rapper’s bail was set at $50,000 (£36,782), according to online records.
The American rapper signed a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records in 2008. His major label debut Careless World: Rise of the Last King was released in 2011 and included the successful singles “Rack City”, “Faded” (featuring Lil Wayne), “Far Away” (featuring Chris Richardson), “Still Got It” (featuring Drake), and “Make It Nasty”. The album’s success was followed up with Hotel California (2013) and Fan of a Fan: The Album (2015), in collaboration with singer Chris Brown.
