Taiwo Ajai-Lycett leads engaging discourse on the joy of reading at CORA’s Book Lounge

Celebrated Nigerian actress Taiwo Ajai-Lycett is set to headline a captivating conversation centred on the joy of reading at the Committee for Relevant Arts (CORA) newly inaugurated Book Lounge, Library and Resource Centre located at Freedom Park on Lagos Island. The event, themed “Reading for Love,” will feature discussions revolving around Ajai-Lycett’s insightful book Just Sharing.

Anchored by Jahman Anikulapo, Programme Chair of CORA, the occasion is slated to coincide with the St. Valentine’s season and will also celebrate Ajai-Lycett’s 83rd birthday anniversary. Ajai-Lycett’s book, Just Sharing, published in 2016, comprises a collection of essays reflecting her profound vision for humanity, with narratives that resonate both locally and globally.

Scheduled for Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 3 pm, the event promises engaging readings and dialogues revolving around Ajai-Lycett’s literary work. Attendees can join the conversation at CORAVille, Freedom Park, 1 Hospital Road, Lagos, utilising Gate 2 for access.
