The acting world is mourning the loss of Carrie Ann Fleming, the versatile star of Supernatural and iZombie, who has died at the age of 51, according to a the-independent.com report.
The actor passed away peacefully on February 26 surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Her representative described her as a “beautiful soul” and a “powerhouse of goodwill” who would be deeply missed by colleagues and fans alike.

Fleming was most recognised for her poignant portrayal of Karen Singer in the long-running US drama Supernatural. Appearing between 2006 and 2011, she played the wife of Bobby Singer, a mentor figure to the show’s protagonists. Beyond the cult hit, Fleming enjoyed a prolific career in television with roles in Smallville, Supergirl, and Stargate SG-1, alongside a five-season run as Candy Baker in the medical procedural iZombie. Her film credits included the 1995 cult comedy Happy Gilmore.
In a moving tribute, her Supernatural co-star Jim Beaver described Fleming as his “soul mate”. Sharing his grief on social media, Beaver revealed a deep, enduring love for the actor that was often complicated by the distance between their homes in Canada and California. Having lost his wife to cancer in 2004, Beaver expressed his heartbreak at losing a second “bright light” to the same disease, praising Fleming’s “rapturous laugh” and “adorable personality”. Fleming is survived by her daughter, Madelyn Rose.
