Snatcha returns with single “Make a Way” after a decade

Snatcha is back with a new single “Make a way,” featuring fellow artiste Sokleva after a 10-year hiatus. The song is the first release from the award-winning artiste’s upcoming project “I just got back from a lot,” which includes a series of new tracks set to be released monthly until the full project is unveiled in June.

Snatcha stepped away from the music industry to focus on his family after his wife was diagnosed with a range of illnesses. After her passing, he struggled with depression but was pulled back by his faith and God’s intervention. Instead of tales of woe, Snatcha returns to the scene with songs of rejoicing and how God made a way.

“Make a way” showcases Snatcha’s experimental hip-hop style, which blends alternative rock with Afro-fusion influences. The track brings back the iconic RooftopMcs vibe that fans have come to know and love with its dope rhymes and lyrics that hit the soul. Produced by Xblaze, the song is a testament to Snatcha’s resilience and faith in the face of adversity.

Speaking about the new release, Snatcha said, “I am excited to be back in the music scene, and ‘Make a way’ is a testament to the journey I have been on. I hope this song will inspire others who are going through tough times to hold on to their faith and believe that things can get better.”

Snatcha’s career spans over a decade, during which he has released one studio album titled The value of Nothing, a live album Drunken Masters, and multiple singles. He is one half of the legendary Rooftop Mcs, Nigeria’s Christian Hip-Hop music pioneers.
