Sheramang tells 2 sides of his story on dual single ‘33’

Sheramang has released “33”, a dual single comprising two contrasting tracks.

The project pairs “Garri Ijebu” and “My Life,” songs that, taken together, present divergent aspects of the artist’s experience and persona.

“Garri Ijebu” is built on a lively rhythm, with the Nigerian artist adopting a playful, confident delivery as he describes attraction and the pull of a woman who commands his attention. The imagery is grounded in movement and everyday detail.

“My Life” takes a markedly different tone, turning inward to address struggle, loss and the weight of family obligation. The lyrics engage with sleepless nights, absent support and the determination to persist through difficulty.

“These two songs show both sides of me,” Sheramang said. “One is how I enjoy life, the other is what I have been through to get here.”

Born David Sheramang, the artist draws on both his Northern Nigerian roots and his Lagos experience. He introduced his sound through the Boy Sheramang EP, which blends melody with narratives rooted in his environment.

“33” is out now on all major streaming platforms via ONErpm.
