The Reggae and Dancehall legend’s collaboration with Rwandan artiste Bruce Melodie on the track “When She’s Around (Funga Macho)” has marked a significant milestone, debuting at No. 8 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart dated March 30.

The infectious blend of African rhythms and reggae vibes in “When She’s Around (Funga Macho)” has captured the attention of music enthusiasts worldwide since its release in October last year under S-Curve Records. The accompanying music video, shot in Miami Beach by director Jay Will, has amassed over 5.3 million views on YouTube, further solidifying the track’s popularity.

The chart ranks the 50 most popular Afrobeats songs based on a weighted formula incorporating official streams and download sales from top music retailers.
