Quramo, Sony partner to elevate Nigerian film industry with visual storytelling workshop

Quramo and Sony have joined forces to present “The Art of Visual Storytelling” workshop in a bid to foster the growth of the Nigerian Film Industry. This free-to-attend event, according to the organisers, aims to equip aspiring filmmakers with essential skills in crafting compelling narratives through potent visuals.

Scheduled for Saturday, February 17th, at Quramo’s creative hub, 13 Sinari Daranijo, Victoria Island, Lagos, the workshop will be facilitated by Ema Edosio Deelen, director of the internationally acclaimed film Otiti. Renowned for her expertise in visual storytelling, Ema will utilise Otiti as a prime case study to demystify the process of creating impactful stories without relying heavily on dialogue.

Participants can expect an interactive session where they will delve into the intricacies of crafting narratives that resonate deeply with audiences. By harnessing the power of imagery, attendees will learn to evoke emotions and establish universal connections, empowering them to leave a lasting impression in the industry.

Prospective participants should visit @quramofficial or @sonyalpha on social media for further information.
