She’s new in the game but amazingly versatile and could be referred to as the new kid on the block, as far as gospel music is concerned. She is strong, a lover of God, and a beautiful lady with many sweet qualities.
IFE SMITH a.k.a Ifeeh Sado’s distinct branding, alongside her soul-stirring music, speaks volumes.
Music started a long time ago for her. It’s an everyday thing now, that she does anywhere and at anytime.
In 2016, Ifeeh Sado, as she is affectionately called among her peers, joined the MSC where she sang and also did some backup singing for Adaora (another talented gospel musician).
As a prolific song writer, Ifeeh Sado was encouraged by her mentor, Adaora, to resume writing and the rest is history.
‘Overcome’ her new single was released today, May1st 2020.
Inspired by real life stories, ‘Overcome’, talks about overcoming fear, depression and life’s many challenges, because we serve a living God. The song also encourages us that with the power of Christ in us, we can and will always overcome.
“We all face different situations in life and somehow manage to cope with them. Well, the factor that guarantees that “somehow” is God,” she reveals.
“I always had the song in mind and when I started writing again, it was the fifth song I wrote but the first to be produced. I get very emotional every time I sing it because it reminds me of what God has done and still does in my life. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it, ” she adds.
The Nigerian-American singer who hails from Ondo State, revealed that she would in the future like to share the stage with the likes of Dunsin Oyekan, Peter Tobe (the producer of ‘Overcome.’), Lauren Daigle, Adaora (a great mentor and dear friend), Onos Ariyo, JJ Hairston, Jumbo Ane, Mercy Chinwo and Jessica Reedy, to name a few notable Gospel acts.
