His music often carries the warmth of West African rhythm and the elegance of Francophone soul, following early collaborations like his performances with the late DJ Arafat and breakout hits such as “Olo LoLo”.
With “Like U II,” the artistes have crafted a love song that is both deeply personal and universally resonant, mirroring the fluidity of modern African romance by moving effortlessly between French, English, Yoruba and Pidgin.
