Mariah Carey has officially announced her highly anticipated new album, ‘Here For It All,’ slated for release on September 26, per variety.com. The announcement across social media ends speculation that had been building under the moniker ‘MC16.’
Fans got an immediate taste of the new music with an a cappella snippet of the album’s title track included in the announcement video. This follows the release of her single “Type Dangerous” in early June, her first solo offering since 2019’s “In The Mix”.
The pop icon also recently teased another track, “Sugar Sweet,” giving fans a glimpse into its lyrics with a snippet shared online. Further details, including the full tracklist and any featured artistes, are yet to be revealed.
In addition to new music, the “We Belong Together” singer is set to perform a major show at the Royal Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, UK on August 15, joined by Eternal and Nile Rodgers & Chic.
“Here For It All” will be her first album since 2018’s Caution.
