Canadian poet, novelist, literary critic and essayist, Margaret Eleanor Atwood recently lost her partner of many years, Graeme Gibson.
She was on the road, marketing her latest Booker shortlisted book, ‘The Testaments’, sequel to her 1985 novel, The Handmaid’s Tale.
Graeme Gibson, a renowned literary mind in his own right, died at the age of 86 of a hemorrhagic stroke, in the University College Hospital in London, England, surrounded by friends and family.
Atwood tweeted the link to the Obituary details and has received hordes of condolence messages from fans and friends.
