Under the leadership of new director Adam Ridgway, the fair continues its tradition of highlighting exceptional literary voices across multiple genres and geographies. The carefully curated selection represents a vibrant cross-section of contemporary storytelling, promising to inspire and challenge audiences.
Headlining the event are four remarkable creators who represent the breadth of modern literature. Monica Ali, renowned novelist and current chair of the Women’s Prize for Fiction, will serve as the Adult Book Author of the Day. Joining her is Argentinian literary sensation Claudia Piñeiro, an International Booker Prize shortlisted novelist and screenwriter who brings an international perspective to the fair.
The children’s literature segment will be represented by Frank Cottrell-Boyce, the current Waterstones Children’s Laureate, known for his engaging and imaginative works. Rounding out the lineup is Jamie Smart, a celebrated comics artist and British Book Awards winner, marking the fair’s first “Creative Personality” designation.
“We are thrilled to bring such an extraordinary array of talent to our 2025 Fair,” Ridgway commented. “These authors represent the innovative spirit and creative diversity of contemporary publishing.”
Scheduled for March 11-13 at Olympia London, the event promises to be a pivotal moment for the international publishing community. The fair will offer in-conversation events with these distinguished authors, providing unprecedented insights into their creative processes and literary journeys.
