Lady Gaga named Best Actress by New York Critics Circle for her “House of Gucci” performance

Lady Gaga has been named Best Actress by the New York Critics Circle for her role as Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci.

According to a Daily Mail report, the singer/actress, 35, was honored Friday for her performance in the Ridley Scott directed movie.

Lady Gaga’s role comes three years after A Star is Born, which had earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress at the time.

Lady Gaga played Patrizia Reggiani, who in real life was convicted in plotting the assination of Maurrizio Gucci, her ex-husband.
