Katie Price reads PTSD recovery and therapy books post rehab

Katie Price has said her renewed focus on her recovery after leaving the rehab centre The Priory, as she shared a snap of her latest reading list on her Instagram Stories.

The mum-of-five posted an image of two books, Recovery from Complex PTSD, and DBT Skills Training: Handouts and Worksheets, reports OK!.

In the corner, the paper says, the 43 year old also added a gif to label them as “currently reading”.

Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based psychotherapy that aims to support people struggling with self-sabotage, mood disorders and mood swings, while helping the to change behavioural patterns.

Complex PTSD refers to a post-traumatic stress disorder that is accompanied by additional symptoms.

These can include difficulty controlling emotions or distrust in the world and people around you.

Katie’s latest update comes after she spent the last few weeks undergoing treatment in The Priory.

The former glamour model was arrested following a car crash near her home in West Sussex in September.
