Jesy Nelson to release new music early 2023

Jesy Nelson is preparing to release new music – and fans don’t have much longer to wait, according to Metro

The outlet reports that the former Little Mix star split from her record label over creative differences after reports that she was sent ‘back to the drawing board’ over the album’s material.

Jesy’s former record company then confirmed the Essex-based star parted ways with label Polydor after they ‘failed to agree on new music’.

Polydor confirmed that they are no longer working with Jesy in a statement issued to Metro.co.uk back in August.

The Boyz singer released her debut single in October last year, which fared well on the charts despite being mired in controversy over alleged ‘Blackfishing’, which Jesy vehemently denied.

A source also told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column that the Boyz singer has been giving friends a preview of the new music and that Jesy has been ‘overwhelmed’ with the reaction so far.

‘Jesy threw a party a few weeks ago and invited some of her friends to hear some of the new music she has been writing and recording. She was overwhelmed by their reaction, as they all loved it,’ they said.

‘The music is more reflective of where Jesy is today and she thinks it will resonate more with Little Mix fans.’
