Jeremy Renner walks on anti-gravity treadmill to help recovery

Jeremy Renner has shared a video of himself walking on an anti-gravity treadmill to aid his recovery following a horror snowplough accident.

Shared on Sunday, the 52-year-old action star can be heard saying in the video that the machine helps his body feel “less weight” as he walks – comparing it to “having a cane” in terms of assisting his movement.

“Now is the time for my body to rest and recover from my will,” the star wrote in the caption of the clip.

The Avengers actor was run over by a 6-tonne snowplough outside his home in Nevada on New Year’s Day as he was trying to “save his nephew” from getting hurt by the machine.

He suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries in the accident – with the star later revealing he had broken more than 30 bones.
