Michael Sheen and his girlfriend, Anna Lundberg, have welcomed a second child.
According to Digital Spy, the Good Omens star revealed in March that he and Anna were expecting another baby, posting a photo of his girlfriend’s baby bump on Twitter and writing: “… it appears there may be another on the way!”.
The actor has now confirmed that the little one arrived this week, by sharing a photo on Twitter of his new baby’s hand grasping his finger and writing: “And just like that….there was another monkey jumping on the bed #190522”, suggesting that the newborn arrived on May 19.
He has not yet revealed the name or sex of the new arrival, who is wearing a pink and white striped outfit in the photo.
The baby is the second child for Twilight star Sheen and Lundberg, who welcomed their daughter, Lyra, in September 2019.
Sheen also has an adult daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, with his ex-partner, Underworld actress Kate Beckinsale. Lily is also an actress, who has most recently starred as Nicolas Cage’s daughter in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
Sheen will soon be back as angel Aziraphale in season two of Good Omens, joining David Tennant’s demon, Crowley, in the Amazon Prime Video fantasy series from Neil Gaiman.
With an exact release date for the new season still unconfirmed, despite filming having wrapped, some fans have been getting a bit impatient waiting for news of when they can see some new episodes, with season one having dropped in 2019.
