“There is no film Kunle shoots that he doesnt give me the script to go through. So, it’s not true that we don’t work together. I just work more behind the scenes” says Gabriel Afolayan, actor and younger brother of film maker Kunle Afolayan.
Gabriel made the clarification at a world press conference to announce Kunle Afolayan’s new movie. His comment is meant to pre-empt questions as he is introduced as a cast member of Kunle Afolayan’s forthcoming movie.
The script is, as usual, by frequent collaborator, Tunde Babalola and the movie will be shot on location in Nigeria, Senegal and Cape Verde.
Gabriel has been cast alongside Sadiq Daba and Jimmy Jean Louis amongst others.
The movie is supported by Ford Foundation, Access Women, Canon, Flyboku.com, natnudo foods etc.
