FLO announce sophomore album ‘Therapy at the Club’

British R&B-pop trio FLO have announced that their sophomore album, “Therapy at the Club,” is scheduled for release on July 24 via Republic Records, according to ratedrnb.com.

The announcement coincides with the arrival of the project’s title track, a piano-led ballad produced by Lostboy, Leroy Clampitt and Lauren Keen.

The 16-track LP features a range of high-profile contributors, including songwriters Amy Allen and Julian Bunetta, alongside previous collaborators Oak Felder and Sevyn Streeter. The group noted that they took a more hands-on approach to the writing process for this project, describing the work as a personal reflection of their current evolution.

“Therapy at the Club” serves as the follow-up to the group’s 2024 Grammy-nominated debut, Access All Areas. That project achieved significant commercial success, reaching number 3 on the UK Official Charts and marking the highest-charting album by a British R&B girl group in over two decades.

The new album will include the lead single “Leak It” and the track “HaterBooth,” which the trio first previewed during an NPR Tiny Desk performance in February. The title track is available for streaming immediately ahead of the full album launch this summer.

The release is a pivotal moment for FLO as they look to build on the momentum of their debut, which revitalised the British girl group format and secured their position as a leading force in contemporary R&B.
