Fireboy DML drops 3rd studio album “Playboy”

Fireboy DML has released his third studio album titled Playboy.

The YBNL signee unveiled the 14-track album on Friday 5 August 2022, which includes his viral hit singles “Peru” and “Peru remix” featuring Ed Sheeran.

The album also includes features by Asake, Chris Brown and Shensea.

Fireboy revealed the album’s cover only last month with release date and pre-save link in a post on Twitter writing “my third studio album, Playboy, – out on the 5th of August. available for pre-save now.”

The album follows Apollo released in 2020 and his 2019 debut album Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps.

In July, he made history as the first afrobeats performer at the 2022 BET Awards with a live rendition of “Playboy.”

In February, the singer reached 300 million+ streams on Audiomack and was presented with a plaque for this feat.

His debut album Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps ramped up 153 million streams, and his sophomore album Apollo also gathered 154 million plays on Audiomack. The rest of the streams were generated by his singles.
