Dumomi, who holds both a BSc and Master’s degree in architecture from the University of Lagos, continues to prove his versatility as he balances his academic background with a burgeoning music career. The Surulere, Lagos-raised artiste’s latest work demonstrates his ability to craft compelling narratives through song.
Luna opens with “War,” featuring Dxnger and produced by Black Culture. The track delves into themes of resilience and personal growth, with Dumomi reflecting on how life’s challenges shape one’s character. “All the trials and tribulations they make us who we are,” he asserts, setting a tone of determination for the EP.
The second track, “Not The Same (NTS),” also produced by Black Culture, reveals a more vulnerable side of Dumomi as he explores themes of admiration and attraction. The song showcases his range as an artiste, capable of tackling both introspective and romantic subjects.
Closing out the EP is “Sharp,” produced by Streetbeatz. Here, Dumomi exudes confidence, boasting about his skills and success with lines like “My game is sharp, my babe is sharp.”
