Dave Chappelle has delivered an unexpected festive treat for comedy fans, announcing the surprise release of his latest Netflix special, The Unstoppable, according to variety.com.
The comedian shared the news during a guest appearance on the livestream for the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua fight night on 18 December. In a short video clip addressed to his fans, Chappelle expressed his gratitude to his hometown of Washington, D.C., where the special was filmed in October.

“I just want you to know that show will be streaming on Netflix tonight after the fight,” Chappelle announced. “My new special drops, and I hope you love it.”
This release marks Chappelle’s eighth stand-up special with the streaming giant. It follows a prolific run of titles including The Age of Spin, Sticks & Stones, The Closer, and most recently, The Dreamer.
The announcement added further star power to a high-profile night in Miami. The ringside guest list featured Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria, alongside celebrities such as director Benny Safdie, singer Shaggy, and comedians Matt Rife and Bert Kreischer.
The special’s launch followed a dramatic main event where Anthony Joshua defeated Jake Paul by knockout in the sixth round. Other notable victories on the night included Anderson Silva defeating Tyron Woodley and Alycia Baumgardner securing a win over Leila Beaudoin.
The Unstoppable is available to stream on Netflix now.
