Carlo Pizzati has been named executive director of Civitella Ranieri Foundation.
The foundation’s board of directors made the announcement saying that the choice came after years of work.
Pizzati, a highly regarded international journalist and author who will join the foundation in mid September, is expected to bring a lot to the position.
“Carlo will join us mid September to begin to work with Dana Prescott as she concludes her remarkable 15 year tenure as our Executive Director. We are so lucky to be able to navigate this transition at such an important time for Civitella from one brilliant leader to another,” says the announcement.
It adds that “as we emerge from the pandemic and a world fraught with tension, Civitella remains a refuge for artists, writers, composers, whose global connections and conversations are ever more important”.
The foundation further says in the announcement by its Chair, Board of Directors, Helen Evarts that there will be opportunity to welcome
Pizzati and to say farewell to Prescott.
