Britney Spears has gone naked again. This time it is to celebrate the release of the Elton John duet, “Hold Me Closer.”
According to Page Six, the 40-year-old singer shared the risqué snap via Twitter late Friday afternoon in which the “Stronger” artiste looks into the camera as she holds her breasts in her hands while sitting on the edge of the tub in front of a window, with only a sheet to cover her lower body.
The outlet reports that earlier in the day, Spears shared a short clip of herself from the bathtub revelling in the success of the new track with John — imitating his British accent while she did so.
The new song, which hit streaming services Friday, is a euphoric midtempo, complete with Spears’ signature vocal runs over a chill dance beat that also interpolates John’s lesser-known 1992 song “The One.”
The collaboration instantly shot to No. 1 on iTunes in 35 countries and has received high praise around the world.
