Beyoncé has announced her highly anticipated Renaissance World Tour saying it will take place this year, according to reports.
Queen Bey, as she is widely known, shared the news on Instagram and posted a comprehensive list of 41 dates and locations on her official website.
The tour is to kick off in Stockholm on May 10, before moving across Europe, to Canada and North America, before concluding on September 27 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Renaissance World Tour will have a mix of both stadium and arena performances.
The “Break My Soul” singer recently returned to the stage after a four-year hiatus in quintessentially theatrical fashion at the new Atlantis the Royal Resort in Palm Jumeriah, Dubai on January 21.
The 2023 Renaissance World Tour will mark Beyoncé’s first tour since her 2018 On the Run II Tour alongside Jay-Z, which celebrated their collaborative record Everything Is Love. Before this, her last solo headlining tour was the Formation World Tour, which took place in 2016 with music from her beloved album Lemonade.
Beyoncé dropped her first solo album in six years on July 29, with 16-tracks chock full of joyful and electrifying house music, paying homage to disco and queer club culture, and becoming the soundtrack of the summer.
