Apple Studios and MACRO Television Studios have bolstered the cast of their much-anticipated series, “Government Cheese,” set to debut on Apple TV+, per deadline.com.
Joining the cast are Bokeem Woodbine (Old Dads), Adam Beach (The Power of the Dog) and Sunita Mani (Servant). “Government Cheese” also stars Simone Missick.
The series, spearheaded by David Oyelowo, who not only leads in front of the camera but also wields his executive producer prowess through his company Yoruba Saxon, promises a gripping narrative.
“Government Cheese” delves into the tumultuous journey of Hampton Chambers (portrayed by Oyelowo), a man striving to reconcile his chequered past while navigating the complexities of family dynamics and unexpected divine interventions.
